More than one hundred entrepreneurs, traders and civil society of Bétera have gathered at the first edition of the Torre Bofilla Awards held by the City Council of Bétera to show their recognition to the traders and entrepreneurs who contribute to the innovation, modernization, promotion and competitiveness of the business and commercial fabric of the locality. This initiative has been promoted by the Department of Commerce and Industry of the City Council, with the collaboration of the Business Association of Moncada, Alfara del Patriarca, Náquera and Bétera (AEMON) and the Association of Traders of Bétera (ACB).

As the mayoress of Bétera, Elia Verdevío, explained during her speech, “these are family businesses that have managed to maintain, adapt and evolve to new consumer habits and the challenge of digitalisation, without losing their values of proximity, personalised service and trust”.

In the business category, the award for business trajectory went to Schuller, the award for innovation, digitalisation and new technologies went to Naranjas del Carmen, the award for quality and excellence went to Aromas del Campo SL and the award for corporate social responsibility went to Textil Batavia. “Companies with an outstanding capacity for growth, innovation, leadership and social responsibility, which thanks to their growth strategy have been able to position their products in international markets”, said Elia Verdevío.

During the Gala, which was held in the gardens of Casa Nebot, all the attendees were able to enjoy eight audiovisual presentations where they presented their business and commercial work; the councillor for Commerce and Industry indicated that “the award winners are examples of dynamism and drive in different sectors that require constant adaptation to competitive and changing markets”.
